Here are my responses to this weeks prompts!

My relationships thrive because... I give 110% to the ones that count, my family and friends.  I never just give up on a friendship or relationship on purpose.  Even some of my bestest friends I sometimes don't talk to for a couple months or more at a time, and yet when we do speak, or text, etc, it feels as though time as ever past because we both want it to be that way and we both care about each other and what we are talking about matters to one another.  A genuinely care, if that makes sense.  I try and try and try always, because life is too short, and I have to know I have given the relationship my best, and by doing so the relationships that matter do in fact thrive!

My favorite piece of advice... Be Yourself, the world will love you!  My best friend Jennifer has been telling me for years to just be myself, and come out of my shell whenever I hide in my shell in social situations.  I am a work in progress with that advice!

My worst habit... It is a toss up between being a stress/emotional eater and biting my nails. Nailing biting is an anxiety thing, I never realized it when I was younger but as I got older I saw the correlation between the two, and it I am upset, depressed, angry- basically all emotions besides happy I eat.  I don't necessarily eat sweets, or things that are bad for me, I just over-eat.

Finish This #21

I’m the type of person who...  Worries about anything and everything.  I have generalized anxiety disorder, so it is not really my fault.. I seriously worry about anything from being robbed at my work or hit by a car while driving, to family getting sick and dying and I never getting to say goodbye.  I worry about being alone, or that people don't like me.  I unfortunately live my life on the defense.  It is a constant battle that I deal with every day to keep the hardcore anxieties and worries at bay, but it is also something I am hardcore working on to make better. I also am the type of person who like to take care of others before myself- because I have the nurturing personality as well as all the worries, I want to make sure everyone is taken care of that I love and care about, I hold on tight to those people because I don't trust easy, and I want the ones that are in my life to stay as long as possible and I hold on tight, for fear that they will leave me.

My favorite joke or riddle is... A friend of mine posted this picture to Instagram a couple weeks back and it was a joke and it just stuck with me.. I thought it was hilarious.. so here you go- my favorite joke/riddle right now..

Isn't that hilarious! I seriously had a good belly laugh when I read it the first time!

All that really matters is... Family (including my four legged family members) and good friends that you can count on.  I would also include health in that, but I have never been a healthy girl and it is what is is, and even though it is important is is part of life, and with the good Family & and good Friends it totally makes up for crappy health! I love my family and friends more than anything in this world, and they are responsible for the majority of my happiness and laughter, and help make up the person I am today, and I cannot ever thank them all enough for their unconditional love and support my whole life!

Finish This #20!!

Welcome back to another week of the link-up Finish This! Hosted by 4 amazing ladies: Nicole, Jen, Lisa, & Becky! It is Week 36, but my week 20 of the link up!  The link up instructions are simple: answer the prompts on your blog. Here are my responses to this weeks prompts!

I am serious about... My heath.  I have wayyy too many ailments to count and I have at least one to two doctors appointments a month.  It is a necessary evil of being a person in remission from cancer.  Because of my past cancer diagnosis, I am VERY serious about raising awareness about Thyroid Cancer, it is a very treatable form of cancer, but only if you get your check-ups! And it just so happens that September is Thyroid Cancer Awareness month!  So get your neck checked!!!

I am most relaxed when... on my days off when I can just sleep in and catch up on my dvr shows and just kick back! Sometimes to just really cut off from the rest of the world and relax I put my headphones in and play some of my fav tunes! I am also the most relaxed when I know everything is going good with my friends and family.  If there is a serious disruption or some serious stress and I can feel it and it gives me such anxiety and I feel bad and want to help, and then I definitely cannot relax!

There’s no place like... well obviously home.. home is where your heart is! I love being at home with my family and getting to enjoy some quality time with them, also obviously being at home is when I can be the most comfortable.  I can kick off my shoes and be in my pjs and just relax!  On another note, there really is no place like the beach.  That Pacific Ocean is my favorite place to be in Southern California.  I am a water baby at heart and I miss it so much because I live in the middle of the Mojave Desert (Las Vegas).  Driving along Pacific Coast Highway with the windows rolled down with the breeze in your hair and the smell of the salt water in the air and the sun blazing down.  Nothing beats that!

This Is 26!

Happy Birthday to Me!!! This past Tuesday, September 2nd, I turned 26 years old!

Birthdays are a huge deal to me!  Ever since I got really sick right after my 21st Birthday, birthdays really started to mean more to me!  It isn't just about presents and having a a cake and decorations.  It is about being with the ones you love and the ones that love you and celebrating your life.  Every year since my diagnosis I have not just celebrated my "day of birth", but that I am still in remission and celebrating being alive!  I know it is hard to understand, but those who have had cancer or some other horrible disease/illness etc, I am sure can relate to the fact that every birthday is gift, especially when you thought that at some point your last birthday could have possibly been your last! But enough with the depressing stuff!!

My Family Birthday was awesome!

We had a yummy dinner, made by my awesome cook of a Dad that included Tri-tip, mashed potatoes, and corn! Then we had an even more delicious cake made by my sister, Nicole. (She made of her awesome cakes that she makes for me, even though she was going to have to miss my Birthday because she had to work at private event at her work Wet N Wild!)  It was a very thoughtful/funny cake. On the other hand, my Brother, JJ was able to come to the party! After we had dinner and cake we opened my gift, an Elephant Wallet, and a couple cards from my parents!  It was  just a very relaxing evening with my family that I thoroughly enjoyed! It was exactly what I wanted and needed.  To just be around my family and enjoy the day!  Even though it was MY Birthday, as the family picture taker, I took many pictures to document the day-- I mean who doesn't love a lot pics of super cute kids, birthday cake and family togetherness time! And of course the obligatory bathroom selfie's that I have made a regular thing haha! I even managed to get a pic of me and my mom, me and my dad, and me and couple of the sibs!

Even google knew it was a special day- Their "search" was all about birthday cakes! haha!

My sister has called me Moggy since she was little because she could not say "Molly", and she likes to make fun of me because I like the Chevron Pattern haha! She is a silly girl! But I love her!!! <333

Thank you to my family for celebrating me on my Birthday!  I had a great day and I love you guys so much! It meant the world to me to have a great day with you all! <3333
