Here is my response to this weeks prompts!

I like eggs… many different ways. I sometimes like them scrambled and sometimes I like them like over easy- especially when I can pop the yokes and mix it around with hash browns. I have discovered it is super delicious! I mean eggs and hash browns go together like peanut butter and jelly. Always yummy!

Mothers Day 2015!!

Happy Mothers Day Mom!!

Happy Mothers Day to the most amazing Mother in the whole world! You are more than my Mom, but my best friend. You have been there for me through everything with open arms, a shoulder to cry on, and unconditional love and support! I love you more than the stars in the sky and to the moon and back!  I love you a million Swedish fish and a million red m&ms.  Thank you for everything you have ever done for me, and continue to do for me, as well as everything you have taught and continue to teach me.  I am the better for it all and seriously don't know where I would be without you.  You are my strength Mom!!  Not to mention all you do for all of us kids.  You have such a big heart taking care of all us. It seriously takes a special person to do what you do! You truly are Supermom!! I love you Mom and I hope you enjoyed your day!!!

And.. A Happy Mothers Day to all the Moms, 2nd Moms, Step-Moms, Godmothers, Adoptive/Fostermoms, Grandmothers, Aunts, Dads who are also the Mom, Furbaby Moms, and any other Mom Figure in someones life.. We are all enternally grateful for all you do for us in this world!!!

Unfortunately, this Mothers Day I am under the weather and didn't get to spend as much time with my Mom as I would have liked. Luckily I was able to get up and go to dinner with the family.  We went to the newish Red Robin at Downtown Summerlin.  I got a Chicken Sandwich hoping that would be bland enough and not make me feel sick later (didnt work). My Dad and the kids got my Mom some yellow/orange Roses and her favorite candy from See's and my brother got her a gift certificate to get a pedicure! My present hasn't arrived yet, but its a personalized magnet from Shutterfly with a picture of my Mom and I taken at her birthday lunch this past March and it says I Love You Mom and Mothers Day 2015, I hope she likes it!

Snapped a couple pics from Mothers Day & the weekend, as it was a special weekend because my younger sister, Alyx got to have a special "weekend" home visit from Reno.  Aside from my parents we all hadn't seen her since last October, and we it was so nice to see her!  I only wish I had gotten to spend more time with her, but being so under the weather, I did not have the energy, nor did I want to get her sick either.

My Mom & I when I was just a few months old!!! OMGSH!! The hair, the glasses

 Ryder didn't wanna cooperate lol!

I asked my Mom later Sunday night if she had a good Mothers Day and she said without a doubt, YES! I hope you all out there did as well!!

Peace & Love

This morning at breakfast, I ate… I didn't get to eat breakfast because I had to do blood-work for my Thyroid today and had to FAST for them.. I drank some water so my veins would be cooperative, but unfortunately that is it... I didn't wake up earlier on purpose because I knew I couldn't eat and would be hungry.  So I got up with enough time to get ready for a job interview I had at 1 p.m., I had previously planned on doing my blood-work in the morning, but I didn't want to do blood-work and then go to a job interview in case I got lightheaded or queasy, especially since I am still not feeling 100% from a virus I having been having for 2 weeks now.  So at like 2 p.m. I finally got to Quest Diagnostic and did my blood-work and once that I was over I went and picked up a dress I had shipped to Torrid and then I finally got a snack of Hummus and Pita at like 3ish.  So yeah the only real meal I had today was dinner which was Tri-tip and steak fries.. yummy!! I know that is a lame answer, wish I had a better one for you ladies!

The thing I remember most about my great-grandmother (or another relative) is … Not kidding- my first thought was I don't have a great-grandmother.. what a stupid thought- everyone has two, its whether or not they know them, duh!  Second thought in my head was "Sadly I never met mine- nor do I know either or their names off the top of my head- I would have to ask my parents" that is not even true!!! I literally don't know what I was thinking- like what is wrong with my brain.. lol!  Now onto the question at hand- what I remember most about my great-grandmother whose name was Gomi, was that she was over 100 years old when she passed away.  She was like 104-105 actually.  I think that is pretty awesome to be healthy enough to live that long and see life and its many changes through so many years.  As well as getting to see so many generations of children come through the family and get to know name.  In fact Gomi actually lived with my parents and I before she went into what I guess was either hospice or just a nursing home.  She passed away when I was still very young, but I am glad I did know her. I do have pictures of her somewhere I just don't know where our picture buckets are right now.

My most recent splurge purchase for myself was… I spent wayy more than I had anticipated on a bathing suit, of all things.  We went on family vacation a couple weeks ago and I knew I was going to need a new swim suit. I hadn't bought one in so many years.. I tried to avoid it like the plague.  But when we went swimming and to the beach I was determined to get a bathingsuit to wear.  2 stores and multiple trips to the fitting room later and I spent over 100 bucks on a new swim suit.. but it was totally worth it! I felt super cute and totally confident in this new bathing suit! It is flattering and bright and despite it being a dreaded bathing suit, it is totally cute and I love it!

You have a first date. Where do you go? I have only had 2 first dates in my life and both time we went to the movies.  Both movies I hated lol, one date resulted in a relationship that led to marriage and divorce and the other led to nothing past the first date.  I was 19/20 years old for both of those dates.  I definitely would not want to go to the movies for another "first date".  These days I'd rather have a nice coffee and conversation or cool dinner- or maybe even an awesome concert as a first date.  I live in Las Vegas so there are plenty of cool places to go for the 21 or older crowd.  I loved cool themed restaurants or places that have awesome food and drinks.. reasonably priced of course.  We would get to know each others interests, share a few laughs. If it is a good date, he may get a kiss, with hopes for a second date.  =)

Things I miss about being a young child... In general the biggest thing I miss about being a young kid is the lack of day to day stress.  As a kid I had no worries or cares in the world.  Life was great.  I had a great home-life, I was great at school. and I was into Basketball- I played at a park league team, and I had a lot of friends.   I miss how simple things seemed.  Just being oblivious to the stresses around me.  I was a lot happier that's for sure! Let alone the fact of having to deal with bills and money.  As a young kid you don't even realize the value of a dollar or that money even exists!  When you are older everything is so thought out it seems.  There are few and far between spontaneous moments, where as when you are a kid it is one moment after another.  I loved going to the park and getting ice cream and playing in the water and pool and just being with friends.  To be carefree again, Id give anything!
