Surprise! Surprise! Us Las Vegas residents woke up this morning to a glorious surprise!
SNOW!!!!
And... not just a little bit of snow that is practically ice and isn't really sticking.. No this was a few inches of fluffy white snow goodness! The housing tops and cars were covered in snow, and trees and bushes were damn near buried and wilting under the weight of the snow!
It was so completely random.. It went from being in the 50's to the 70s', to raining on and off all day yesterday, to snowfall overnight last night.. Random bi-polar Vegas weather!
No complaints though. Despite how cold it was I loved it! Of course the kiddos did as well!
They got up and dressed and Nicole and I took some of the kids down to a little park in our housing complex and played in the snow for a little bit before they had to come back and get ready for school.. We threw snowballs at each other, attempted to make some snow men, and just generally had a good time playing in the snow.
Even Puppy Bite aka Ryder was able to get in on the fun.. the snow was brought to him by way of my Dad who brought him in a huge snowball and put in on his high chair table top lol!
I think this is the first and only time I will ever say Happy Monday! because I mean when can you ever say a Monday is a happy day, except when it is snowing haha!
